Product care
Design is in the details. Care is in the habit.
The art of longevity.
Caring for a mixed-material piece like a painted aluminum and stone coffee table top requires a “gentle but frequent” approach. These materials have different sensitivities, so the goal is to protect the finish of the metal while preventing stains on the top surface.
Frame
Our aerospace-grade aluminum is finished with a high-durability coat. To maintain its luster:
The Gentle Touch: Use only microfiber. Imagine the finish as a fine car—avoid anything abrasive.
The Solution: A simple drop of pH-neutral soap in warm water is all the chemistry it needs.
Stay Dry: Buff with a dry cloth immediately to prevent “ghosting” from water minerals.
Upper surface
CHEERY WOOD
The Vibe: Warm, tactile, and ever-evolving.
Wood is a living archive. It expands, contracts, and matures with the light and air of your home. To honor its grain:
Climate Harmony: Wood dislikes extremes. Keep your table away from direct heat sources or humidifiers to prevent the natural fibers from warping or checking.
The Luster Ritual: Dust with the grain, never against it. Use a dry, soft cloth for daily care; for a deeper clean, a damp cloth followed immediately by a dry one preserves the seal.
Sunlight Wisdom: Like fine skin, wood “tans.” Rotate your tabletop decor occasionally to ensure the UV patina develops evenly across the entire surface.
| The Essentials (Keep These) | The Enemies (Avoid These) |
| Soft Microfiber Cloths | Steel Wool & Scouring Pads |
| Distilled Water | Bleach & Ammonia |
| Felt-bottomed Coasters | Direct High Heat |
| pH-Neutral Stone Soap | Acidic “DIY” Cleaners |
STONE (different types)
The Vibe: Organic, heavy, and timeless.
Stone is a rhythmic map of history. Because it is porous, it breathes and reacts to its environment:
The Golden Rule: Blot, never wipe. If wine or coffee meets the stone, lift it away immediately to prevent the pigment from “homing” into the pores.
Acid Alert: Keep lemons, vinegar, and harsh alcohols away. They are the natural enemies of stone’s polished grace.
The Ritual: We recommend a seasonal resealing to keep the surface impenetrable.

CARBON FIBERS
The Vibe: High-performance, technical, and light-refracting.
Woven for strength and engineered for the avant-garde. Carbon fiber is a composite of precision. To maintain its structural brilliance:
Micro-Scratch Prevention: While incredibly strong, the resin top-coat is high-gloss. Treat it like the lens of a camera—only use ultra-plush microfiber to avoid “swirl marks” in the light.
Chemical Purity: Avoid solvents like acetone or heavy degreasers. These can cloud the resin over time, hiding the beautiful weave beneath a milky haze.
Thermal Guard: Carbon fiber is heat-resistant, but the clear coat isn’t. Always use a trivet for items straight from the stove to prevent “blooming” (white heat marks) on the finish.
